The National Institute of Road Transport (INATRO) is currently facing a system outage, rendering it unable to issue driver’s licences and registration plates. The disruption is caused by a rupture in the optic fibre connection provided by TMcel, the public institution responsible for maintaining the functionality of INATRO’s services.
This information was disclosed on Monday through a statement accessed by ‘O País.’ INATRO expressed its apologies for the inconvenience caused to the public but did not provide an estimated timeframe for the restoration of services. Additionally, the institute has not detailed any measures being taken to mitigate the impact of this outage on users.
